About
Evening of Calm was originally taught as a four-week live series during the summer of 2026, as part of my Summer of Self-Love offering. It was created in recognition of how easily we can reach the end of the day still carrying everything with us… Busyness, conversations, responsibilities, thoughts and tensions that have all accumulated along the way. These sessions offer another way to meet that moment. Across four 45-minute practices, I guide you through gentle somatic movement, breathwork, guided relaxation and Yoga Nidra, helping you gradually move from the activity of the day towards greater stillness, ease and rest. The movement practices are slow and mindful, working with the muscles and fascia to help release held tension while encouraging you to become more aware of what you're sensing and feeling within your body. We then use simple breath practices to help settle and soothe the nervous system before moving into longer periods of guided relaxation and Yoga Nidra. Across the four sessions there are underlying themes of kindness, listening to the body, soothing and softening, surrender and deep rest. Although this series was originally run during the summer months, the practices are supportive at any time of year. You might work through the four sessions in order, choose whichever one feels most supportive that evening, or return again and again to a favourite practice when you need it. The programme includes: • Four complete 45-minute Evening of Calm sessions • Gentle somatic movement and stretching • Practices to release physical and held tension • Calming and settling breathwork • Guided relaxation • Yoga Nidra for deep rest and restoration No previous experience is needed, and you'll find guidance within the programme to help you prepare yourself and your space before beginning. Evening of Calm is a place to put the day down for a while, listen to what your body needs, and give yourself permission to rest.
