100-Hour Foundational Yoga Course
A 5-Month Journey to Support Your Well-Being and Daily Life

Do you ever feel like life has become a little too much? That you’ve drifted out of sync with your body and rhythms?

If you’ve been attending yoga classes and feel ready to build a home practice whilst exploring how yoga aligns with the rhythms of nature, this 100-hour foundation course offers a spacious and supportive next step.
​
Designed to gently introduce you to the practices, principles, and rhythms of yoga and seasonal living, you’ll not only learn postures, breathwork, and meditation, you’ll learn how to create a meaningful home practice that works for you.

Over 45 yoga postures and how to practise them safely and effectively

Guided yoga flows to experience sequencing and mindful movement

Breathing techniques to support your nervous system and emotional well-being

A variety of meditation methods to find what works best for you

Basic anatomy and physiological body systems

This isn’t your typical teacher training. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of yoga and the seasonal flow of Chinese Medicine’s 5 Element Theory, this course is for those ready to go deeper, whether you feel called to teach or are seeking personal growth and transformation.
Seasonal Yoga is about living in harmony with the natural world. It’s a counterbalance to our modern-day busy and stressful lives, helping you reconnect with your inner cycles and the rhythm of the year.

As a qualified teacher, it also offers a unique and powerful framework that helps you stand out whilst supporting your students in meaningful and lasting ways.

We’ve run this training three times now, and it’s amazing to see our seasonal yoga teacher community grow. We hold twice-yearly CPD days and relaxed get-togethers to keep the learning and connection going beyond the course.

The foundations of traditional yoga and seasonal living

Chinese Medicine's 5 Element Theory and its integration with yoga

How to design and deliver seasonal yoga classes

Asana, breathwork (pranayama), meditation, and seasonal self-care practices

Practical teaching skills, sequencing, anatomy, and the art of holding space

Yoga philosophy and lifestyle approaches for personal growth and transformation

12 modules (1 weekend per month, Sat & Sun 9am–5:30pm)

In-person teaching with experienced facilitators and guest teachers

Seasonal yoga textbook, 2 training manuals, log book, and reading list

Full online access to all materials for flexible learning between modules

Homework buddy system to support learning and connection

Yoga Alliance International-accredited certification

Meet the Teachers

​Rachel (right) is the lead teacher for both trainings. She began practising yoga in the 1970s and has been successfully teaching for over 15 years. Recognised as a Yoga Elder with Yoga Teachers Together, Rachel's deep knowledge, warmth, and experience are at the heart of these offerings. Melissa (me), who assists on both courses, brings her background in seasonal yoga and cyclical living, Qigong, and reflective practice to complement the learning journey.
Together, we support students to embody what they learn and create practices that feel authentic and sustainable.
