Relax & Restore Sessions
Gentle Movement and Guided Relaxation to Promote Deep Rest.
Service Description
Upcoming Sessions: Wednesday 27th November and Wednesday 18th December from the comfort of your own home (via zoom) 8pm -8:45pm. With all the noise, doing, responsibilities, and roles we play in life there is the potential to become tightly wound, depleted and stressed. These monthly classes invite you to set aside time solely for you to get some deep rest and relaxation for your whole body and mind. As a result, it can help you unwind from anxiety, overwhelm and stress and many people report that it helps improve their sleep and relaxation levels. We begin the class with gentle movement to help start the process of settling the body and quietening the mind before moving onto the practice of a Yoga Nidra script which is read to you whilst you relax for the remainder of the class. Yoga Nidra is referred to as yogic sleep and is an adaptogenic practice, meaning that it is responsive to what you need at the moment. Benefits can include calming the mind, aiding sleep, improving creativity, and reducing tension and stress. It can also help you foster a deeper and more connected relationship with yourself. The feedback I have received from these sessions include: ' I had the best night's sleep', ‘blissful’, ‘heavenly’ and 'thank you, that is the most relaxed I have ever felt’. The cost of this session is £5 if purchased separately or is part of your package if you are a member of my membership The Wellness Club. This membership package is £10 or included with my 6-class pass and All class pass. You can find more details on the Pricing Plan Tab.
