Service Description
Come and join me for a qigong movement and meditation practice to help reset your emotional landscape and nurture your energetic foundation. Do you feel like you're always rushing from one thing to the next, trying to hold it all together? But inside? You’re running on empty, feeling weary, reactive, and off-centre. This class is for you if you feel: • Worn down by the emotional weight of daily life • Like your mind rarely slows down • Frustrated by how quickly you’re triggered or depleted • Ready to come home to yourself, without adding more pressure ________________________________________ What is Qigong? Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese movement and energy practice that combines qigong forms, which are gentle, flowing postures with breathwork, visualisation, and meditation. It’s designed to support the smooth flow of qi (life force energy) through the body — strengthening the organs and their associated emotion, calming the mind, and restoring inner balance. ________________________________________ What We’ll Explore Together 🧘♀️ Five Element Forms Qigong postures for the five elements and their main emotional energies (anger, anxiety, worry, grief, fear) and their higher expressions (assertiveness, joy, empathy, acceptance, courage). 🕊️ Meditations & Visualisations To stabilise the nervous system and invite emotional ease. 💬 Affirmations & Breathwork To rewire inner narratives and anchor new responses. Over the 4 weeks, we’ll return to the same core qigong movement practices, allowing them to become embodied tools you can rely on and revisit. Alongside these, we’ll explore a variety of qigong meditations, so by the end of the series, you’ll have both a rooted physical routine and a collection of meditative practices to draw from. ________________________________________ 🌀 Support Beyond the Class Each week, you’ll also receive a follow-up email to help you integrate the teachings e.g a short written or recorded reminder of one movement or affirmation or a journal or reflection prompt. This class series is a chance to build an emotional foundation that supports you long after the hour is done. Reported benefits of regular Qigong practice include: • Reduced stress and anxiety • Greater emotional steadiness • Improved sleep and mood • Increased vitality and mental clarity You don’t need any experience or special equipment aside from Zoom access. Movement is mainly done standing and limited space is needed.
