Hi, I’m Melissa!

If you’re here, you might be feeling like you’re at a crossroads in midlife, craving something more.   Well, you’re in the right place!

I’m a midlife woman myself, navigating perimenopause, juggling a career with an ever-changing body, and facing the challenges of the second half of life, self-doubt, brain fog and loss—which includes some long-term friendships and most recently, the passing of my dad in 2023.

My ankles ache, I can cry at the smallest things and certain things don’t feel as easy as they once were.

But here’s the thing: I’m not buying into the narrative that midlife is the beginning of the end.

In fact, I’m calling bullshit!

Midlife has given me the chance to really step back and examine my life—what I want, who I want to be, and how I want to show up. I’m discovering my voice and power in ways that weren’t present in my 20s and 30s, and I like it!

I’ve decided that midlife is my opportunity to become stronger, to liberate myself from old patterns and habits that no longer serve me, embrace who I truly am, and thrive.

My Story

My life had drifted so far away from how I wanted it to be.  I was misaligned with my values, living unhealthily and recklessly.

And so, ten years ago, I made two promises to myself: to be kinder to myself and my body and to ensure my work reflected how I live my life.

I won’t pretend every day is easy, but I’m deeply grateful for the practices that anchor me, guide me, and inspire my life and work.

For the past eight years, I’ve immersed myself in teaching yoga and wellness practices, particularly through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine's Five Element Theory, which governs how I live and teach seasonally - guiding me to cultivate harmony within myself and with the world around me.

I often marvel at how trees and plants have existed for so long, adapting and evolving through time. This inspires me to approach my own healing and personal development with similar dedication, allowing me to grow and evolve through any challenges I face.

My journey has led me to train as a Yoga Teacher, a Women’s Holistic Hormone Health Practitioner, a Groove Dance facilitator, and a Women’s Circle Leader.  I’m also certified in Culinary Nutrition and I hold certificates in Five Element Yoga, Qigong, Acupressure and Coaching along with Energy Medicine Yoga, Reiki Shoden and Okuden, Menopause Yoga, and Grief Yoga.

Throughout this journey, I’ve built a beautiful community of wholehearted women dedicated to living fully and authentically.  My mission is to help women in midlife reconnect with their inner spark, reclaim their energy, and live with joy and intention.

I offer both personalised and community gatherings that address grief, self-doubt, exhaustion, and the search for a fresh perspective through a blend of mindful movement, energy work and emotional liberation practices.

I live and breathe what I teach. When I’m not guiding others, you’ll find me up before 5 am journaling, followed by a groove dance session, a strength session, some yoga, and then a walk in nature.

I love connecting with nature, listening to podcasts, diving into a good book, savoring delicious food, or spending time with my favourite person—my Mum.

Are you ready to embrace midlife as a time of renewal and joy?

Let’s reconnect with nature, liberate our emotions, love and look after our bodies, and reclaim our authentic selves—together!

Yoga Class
I was the original sceptic until I joined Melissa's yoga classes about 18 months ago on recommendation from one of her students. Since joining her class I feel so much more relaxed and less stressed. My blood pressure is reduced and I am less dependent on medication. I really owe her massive dept for my mental as well as physical well-being.
